2. Composition and Working Principle
The rotary drilling rig machine mainly operates through two core functions: upper-vehicle drilling operation and lower-vehicle moving travel:
- Lower – vehicle travel: When the equipment moves, the engine (such as the Weichai 4108, 88KW model installed in our product) drives the hydraulic main pump to provide pressure oil. The pressure oil is transmitted to the travel motor through the central revolving body, and then the travel reducer drives the driving wheel to rotate, realizing the chassis travel, steering, and braking. The track center distance can be adjusted through the chassis telescopic cylinder (the maximum span should be maintained during operation).
- Drilling operation: During drilling, the engine drives the oil pump to supply oil. First, adjust the two-stage luffing cylinder to align the drill bit with the hole position. According to the verticality detection, manually/automatically adjust the verticality of the drill mast to meet the standard; then operate the power head drive motor to rotate, and drive the drill pipe and drill bit to perform rotary drilling through the reducer and drive sleeve. At the same time, supply oil to the pressurizing cylinder to make the power head have downward pressure to improve efficiency. When lifting the drill pipe, the main winch rotates and the pressurizing cylinder lifts synchronously; after the drill bit reaches the ground, the turntable rotates to the soil-unloading position. If a rotary bucket is used, the drill bit needs to be lifted to the power head impact body, and the lower end of the rotary bucket is opened for soil unloading by pressing down the power head or lifting the main winch. The drilling depth is displayed digitally by the electrical appliance, and the operation stops when the required depth is reached.
