How does the Stirrup Bending Machine work?

The working process of the stirrup making machine is a highly automated continuous operation with four main steps:

Step 1: Automatic straightening
Coiled rebar is fed directly without a pay-off stand, just like a standard straightening machine. The rebar passes through horizontal and vertical straightening wheel sets (autoadjustable) and four traction wheels driven by servo motors, which straighten the coiled bar to a standard straight line.

Step 2: Digital length measurement
The straightened bar is measured precisely by a digital measuring system. Based on the preset shape parameters, the system calculates the feed length for each section with an accuracy of ±1mm.

Step 3: Hydraulic/servo bending
The bending arm, driven by a servo motor, rotates and extends at high speed to perform multiangle bends according to the preset shape. Maximum bending angle is ±180°, bending speed up to 1000°/s, and angle accuracy ±1°. The machine can store complex shapes with up to 60 bends, supporting onepass forming of various stirrup shapes and contours.

Step 4: Sliding cutting
The cutting system uses a sliding blade design. Unlike traditional cutting, this structure avoids extra wear when processing small stirrups, ensuring clean cuts every time. Throughout the process, the straightening speed automatically matches the bending speed, and all steps are seamlessly linked.
